Cold-Process Botanical Cleansing Bars

Our bars are cold-process formulated in our North Kingstown, Rhode Island lab with organic shea butter, olive, sweet almond and coconut oils, cleansing clays and botanical infusions. Cold process keeps the glycerin that forms naturally during saponification, a humectant many mass-produced bars remove, so the lather cleanses while skin stays soft and comfortable.

Our Process

We balance each formula's butters and oils against a lye solution made with water, herbal tea or milk, blend to trace, then add clays, botanicals and scent. Bars are unmolded and cut after about two days, then cured for six weeks for a milder, harder, longer-lasting bar.
